This company is kind of a continuation of a project I started in the late 90s. I started to make field recordings in Pakistan and India...mostly folk music recordings. the music from that part of the world just blew my mind and the folk stuff is just incredible. nothing really came out of it but I do think about how music can change people, much like what Robert Bastani talked about in the short essay.
